About Baltimore County Inherited Home Solutions

Baltimore County Inherited Home Solutions was built around a simple idea: families dealing with inherited houses deserve clear property information without being pushed into decisions before they are ready.

Our Story

Founder Gregory Ashford grew up in Baltimore County and spent much of his adult working life around residential properties and home projects in central Maryland. The idea for Baltimore County Inherited Home Solutions became personal after Gregory's uncle died and left behind a longtime Baltimore County home. The house was not simply an asset on paper. It held decades of furniture and family belongings, needed maintenance, and involved relatives who lived in different places and had different amounts of time to help.

Gregory ended up being the person who coordinated many of the practical details. He met people at the property, kept track of repairs that might be needed, helped family members sort what should be kept, and watched carrying expenses continue while everyone tried to decide on the right approach. What stayed with him was how fragmented the process felt. The family could find people who understood estate law and people who understood houses, but it was harder to find someone who understood why an inherited property creates a different kind of decision.

Baltimore County Inherited Home Solutions grew from that experience. Gregory brought in Sophia Delgado, who has a talent for keeping complicated property details organized, and Jordan Whitfield, whose practical eye for home condition helps families understand what they are actually dealing with. The team's approach remains intentionally straightforward: learn the situation, explain the property options, respect the estate process, and give the family room to make its own decision.

How We Work

Clarity before pressure

People make better property decisions when they understand the situation. We would rather explain the options clearly than rush a family toward an answer.

Respect for the property

An inherited house may be an estate asset, but it may also be someone's longtime family home. We treat both realities seriously.

Practical problem solving

We focus on the issues that actually affect the property: condition, repairs, belongings, vacancy, timing, carrying responsibilities, and the people who need to make decisions.

Know the boundaries

We do not pretend property experience replaces legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. When a question belongs with a qualified professional, we say so.
